DeveloperGenerate WooCommerce product descriptions and product images instantly using AI, right inside the product editor. No API key needed.
AI Product Generator for WooCommerce lets you create product descriptions and product images in seconds, directly from the WooCommerce product edit screen. No external accounts. No API key setup. Just open a product, click generate, and get ready-to-use content instantly.
If you manage a WooCommerce store and spend too much time writing product descriptions or searching for product images, this plugin is built for you.
What This Plugin Does
The plugin adds an AI generator panel inside the WooCommerce product editor. From there you can generate a product description and a product image with a single click. The generated description is automatically filled into the product content field. The generated image is automatically saved to your WordPress Media Library and set as the product featured image.
Everything happens inside WordPress. You do not need to copy and paste from any external tool.

How It Works
The plugin connects to the JCodex API to process generation requests. When you click generate inside the product editor, the plugin sends your product details to the JCodex API, which returns AI-generated text or image data. You do not need an OpenAI account or any third-party API key. The JCodex service handles all AI processing on its end.
Generated images are stored directly in your WordPress Media Library like any other uploaded image.
Why Use This Plugin Instead of Writing Manually
Writing a good product description takes time, especially if you have dozens or hundreds of products. Sourcing product images is even harder. This plugin cuts that time down to seconds per product. The generated content is ready to publish right away, and you can always edit it before saving.
Most AI content generator plugins for WooCommerce require you to bring your own API key from OpenAI or another provider. This plugin does not. The JCodex API handles that for you. This makes setup faster and removes a common barrier for store owners who are not comfortable with API configuration.
Plugin Requirements
- WordPress 5.8 or higher
- WooCommerce (must be installed and active)
- PHP 7.4 or higher
External Services
This plugin requires external services to generate AI product descriptions and images. Requests are sent only when a logged-in WordPress admin or editor user triggers a generation action inside the WooCommerce product editor.
JCodex API
All AI generation goes through the JCodex API, a hosted REST API operated by JCodex.
Endpoint: https://jcodex.com/wp-json/apg/v1 (routes: /generate-text and /generate-image)
When you click generate, the plugin sends an HTTPS POST request containing:
- site_url: your site’s public WordPress URL as set under Settings > General
- data: the generation payload, which is either a prompt string built from your product content and selected options (tone, length, audience) for text, or the image prompt text you entered for images
Requests are made only when you trigger a generation action in the admin panel. Free tier usage limits apply.
