AI Semantic Handshake
AI Semantic Handshake is a WordPress plugin that helps site owners build structured, bidirectional trust relationships with partner websites using JSON-LD and a verification-aware handshake flow.
What This Plugin Does
The plugin is designed for site owners who want to declare and maintain structured partner relationships in a machine-readable format. It combines a managed approval workflow with front-end schema output and relationship verification.
Handshake Workflow
Site owners can send, receive, approve, reject, and maintain handshake requests in WordPress admin.
Schema Output
Active relationships can be published as JSON-LD so partner references are available in a structured format.
Verification
The plugin includes verification and sync diagnostics to help site owners review relationship health over time.
Local Control
Partner cleanup, pending request cancellation, and review actions remain controlled from the local WordPress admin area.
How It Works
- The site owner enters local identity details and initiates a request to a partner website.
- The target site is checked for plugin support before a handshake request is submitted.
- Incoming requests can be reviewed and approved manually in WordPress admin.
- After approval, the plugin updates the local relationship state and attempts a callback sync with the requester.
- Verified partner relationships can then be reflected in front-end schema output.
External Communication
AI Semantic Handshake does not depend on a central third-party SaaS service to perform its core handshake workflow. Instead, it communicates directly with partner websites that a site owner explicitly configures.
Direct Site-to-Site Requests
The plugin may send HTTP requests to partner websites for status checks, handshake delivery, verification, and callback synchronization.
User-Initiated Relationship Setup
These requests are tied to relationship management actions taken by the site owner, such as sending or approving a handshake.
Shared Site Identity Data
When a handshake is created, the plugin may exchange site identity details such as the site URL, site name, and a public identifier with the configured partner site.
Optional Semantic Support
The plugin also includes an independent Semantic Support option for front-end schema output. This feature is separate from partner handshakes and is disabled by default.
