R\u00e9tractation L\u00e9gale for WooCommerce<\/strong> adds an online withdrawal button and form to WooCommerce, helping merchants implement the mechanism required by EU Directive 2019\/2161 (Omnibus)<\/strong> for customers in the 30 countries of the European Economic Area (EEA).<\/p>\n

This plugin does not guarantee legal compliance \u2014 it provides the technical tooling to help merchants implement the withdrawal process. Merchants remain responsible for verifying their obligations with a qualified legal professional.<\/p>\n

Who needs this?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any WooCommerce store selling to consumers in the 30 EEA countries: the 27 EU member states + Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. In France, the obligation applies from June 19, 2026 (Art. L221-21 of the Consumer Code).<\/p>\n

Without an online withdrawal mechanism, the legal withdrawal period is automatically extended by 12 months in most EEA countries.<\/p>\n
